Speaking at the concert event, His Excellency, Andrews Barnes, the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana said, they were aiming that the orchestral genre would inspire Ghanaian youth to keep involved in classical music.

« The hope of this orchestral is to endure and go stronger to give an avenue and inspiration for young Ghanaians to get involved in classical music, so that they can have the pathway of easy career through their lives », he said.

He added that, the experience of rehearsing and playing in a full orchestral has been exhilarating and inspiring for all children.

He also acknowledged all the dedicated local and visiting musicians who worked at the community level over the past years to help train the next generation of musicians.
