Praia, Oct 12 (Inforpress) Josimar Dias “Vozinha”, goalkeeper of the national team of Cabo Verde, this Wednesday completed his fiftieth (50) internationalization, in a game of preparation for the CAN 2021 qualifiers against Andorra.
Vozinha, who has defended the Cabo Verde team since 2012, making her debut in a friendly against Ghana, this Wednesday completed his fiftieth (50) internationalization, with a 2-1 victory for the blue sharks against the counterpart of Andorra. The goalkeeper, of the Cabo Verde national team (34 years old) who plays for AEL Limassol, from Cyprus, assumed the captain’s armband in the game against Andorra and spent the 90 minutes in the game.
“The 50th internationalization was crowned with a victory. It is always a pride to be in the national team and defend the symbol of the nation and all Caboe Verdeans, the realization of one of my greatest dreams was to be the national team’s captain”, the player reacted in this way on his official Facebook page.
After the victory against Andorra, Cabo Verde goes back to the field next Saturday, 10th, this time to play once again in a friendly with Guinea-Conakry, in the Municipal Stadium of Albufeira (Portugal), 3:00PM.
