Achada Igreja, Oct 19 (Inforpress) – The search for healthier products made without harming the environment has jumped from the food field to cosmetics and people are already developing essential oils inside the home as natural alternatives to those available on the market.
This is the case of Ana Maria dos Santos Tavares, “Ana di Pico”, known for decades in the municipality of São Salvador do Mundo, and abroad, for her activity in the production and sale of essential oils, herbs, seeds and ornamental plants who set up her business in front of her residence on the main street of Achada Igreja, municipality of São Salvador do Mundo.
The “Ana di Pico” house became a mandatory stopping point for those who travel to the countryside of Santiago.
In an interview with Inforpress, Ana di Pico said that the production and sale of castor oil, purge oil, moringa seeds, calabaceira seeds, eggplant peels and ornamental plants are a tradition inherited from her parents and for more than four decades became the family breadwinner.
