Praia, Jan 19 (Inforpress) – The president of the Cabo Verde Medical Association calls, on Monday, in Mindelo, for unity of doctors, in strengthening their professional organization, citizens and the Ministry of Health to give a “response” to COVID-19 in the country.
According to Danielson Veiga, who was speaking at the celebration of Cabo Verdean Doctor’s Day and the 23 years of the creation of the Cabo Verde Medical Association (OMC), each one must contribute in their area of specialty and professional assistance , so that the COVID-19 outbreak can be “controlled for good”.
“At this moment, I want to believe that Cabo Verdeans place all their trust in us and expect solutions from us so that the country can overcome this situation”, said the doctor, who said “having no doubts” about the “capacity dimension of Cabo Verdean doctors” in making Cabo Verde a “competitive” country in the health area at the African region.
For Danielson Veiga “the country’s health indicators” encourage to do “more and better”, to “reinforce class unity” and the promotion of merit and competence.
