Luanda, 20 September (ANGOP) – Angola announced, this Sunday, the record of 116 new cases, 3 deaths and the recovery of 11 patients in the last 24 hours.
According to the daily bulletin, 96 new infections were diagnosed in Luanda, 10 in Huíla, 8 in Namibe, 1 in Malanje and 1 in Moxico.
With ages ranging from 3 months to 89 years, the list includes 74 male and 42 female patients.
The deaths were reported in provinces of in Huíla, with 2, and Luanda, with 1, respectively.
Among those recovered, 9 live in Luanda, 1 in Huíla and 1 in Namibe.
The laboratories processed, in the last 24 hours, 1,989 blood samples.
At least 332 patients are hospitalized in the treatment centers, while 212 citizens are in institutional quarantine and 2,823 contacts of positive cases are under epidemiological surveillance.
So far, Angola has 52,423 cases, of which 1,391resulted in death, 46,036 recovered and 4,996 active. Of the active, 41 are critical, 42 serious, 161 moderate, 88 mild and 4,664 asymptomatic.
