Accra, Sept. 13, GNA – Mr. George Amoako, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, has said, the second leg of the « Golden Clash » against Ashantigold, on Sunday, would be stern challenge considering what happened in the first leg.
The Porcupine Warriors, defeated their regional counterparts 3-2 in a fascinating friendly at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
But Mr. Amoako believes, the better side in the second leg, would eventually earn the bragging rights, but he was confident about another exciting football match.
« The first leg wasn’t easy at all and a great game, which we all witnessed at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
« We expect something similar and I difficult contest in Obuasi, but I think the better team would win, » he told the GNA Sports.
A brace from talisman Songne Yacouba and winning goal from Wahab Adams ensured advantage for the Porcupine Warriors going into the second leg while former Kotoko players Saddick Adams and Eric Donkor scoring for Ashantigold SC.
