Praia, Oct 14 (Inforpress) – Selected Cabo Verdean producers will participate in the fifth (V) Caeté International Film Festival (FICCA), which will take place in December 8, 9 and 10, in Portugal.
Speaking to Inforpress, producer Helder Savy Monteiro stated that he was encouraged by a colleague to sign up and soon afterwards he learned that his documentary was selected, so this will be his debut at this event that will take place in Porto , Portugal.
As he explained, the documentary portrays about ‘cinemas in cape verde’. “It was a film I produced to be a final project for my degree, and it ended up being useful to represent my country at the Caeté International Film Festival” he revealed.
Helder Savy Monteiro, said that his documentary was selected for the short film category because the film has 37 minutes, although he is competing for various types of awards, not knowing how to specify for sure.
