Akatawia (E/R), Aug. 23, GNA – Members of the Divine House of Prayer Ministry at the weekend undertook a health walk through selected streets of Akatawia in the Upper Manya District of the Eastern Region.
The church educated the public on the need to undertake exercises regularly, to improve upon their health and physical fitness.
Addressing the participants at the headquarters of the church at Akatawia after the exercise, Prophet Joshua Tetteh Mautseni, Founder and Leader of the Ministry, said the exercise offered the opportunity for them to interact with each other and members of the public.
According to him, the wealth walk would be a periodic feature for the members.
He told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview that the walk was also to enable members to exercise their body, burn fats and lose weight, to help keep them fit and healthy.
Prophet Tetteh Mautseni stated that Christians should always be available for the work of God and be each other’s helper.
He expressed the view that it was a responsibility on religious leaders to engage in issues that seek to promote the environmental, social and economic development of the nation.
Prophet Tetteh Mautseni earlier led a cross-section of the congregation to undertake a cleaning exercise at the surroundings of the church and the township as part of tiding the community.
