Praia, Oct 12 (Inforpress) – The Secretary of State for Innovation and Professional Training said that the COVID-19 pandemic came to demonstrate the differences between those who have digital literacy and those who do not, stressing that it is necessary to bet on training.
Pedro Lopes made these remarks this Thursday in statements to Inforpress outside his online participation in the Ministerial Conclave on Human Capital, which took place in the framework of the IMF and the World Bank Annual Meeting , which takes place in Washington, United States of America.
“There were more than 70 countries were represented by their leaders, where they shared experiences and challenges of the continuous investment of human capital, even in the time of COVID-19. We, as a country that is part of this project, were present to show what we have done and also to learn from the experience of other countries ”, he informed. Cabo Verde, even with the COVID-19 pandemic in mind, said Pedro Lopes, continues to focus on professional training.
“We don’t stop, it is a continuous bet on professional training. Leaving no one behind in the digital area is also one of the mottos of this year in education in Cabo Verde and was the opening theme of the school year”, he stated.
