Praia, Dec 27 (Inforpress) – Vitoria and Benfica, two teams that achieved their first triumphs in their final matchday, will play against each other at Várzea Stadium on Thursday, opening match of the eighth round of the South Santiago regional football.
Ninth with six points, Vitória da Praia, which comes from a 2-1 win over Bairro, play against Benfica da Praia, with three points in tenth and antepenultimate place, also achieved by its first triumph and consequently, the first points this season (3-1 over ASA Grande).
The eighth macthday will be played from Thursday to Sunday, in four sessions, with a game on Thursday and Friday, against both games on Saturday and so many on Sunday, and has as strong plate Sunday clash between the Academica, one of the leaders of the race against Boavista, third ranked with one point less, in a game that will be in question the leadership of the championship.
The other leader, Os Travadores comes into play in Saturday’s second game to play against ASA Grande, last in the league table, without any points.
