Praia, Oct 27 (Inforpress) – The Energy Efficiency Project in Buildings and Equipment national coordinator, Edson Mendes, defended Monday that for the operationalization of the Energy Efficiency Code, already approved, it is necessary to have trained professionals in Building Certification.
Edson Mendes made these statements to Inforpress, outside the energy efficiency certification, certifiers and auditors training course, carried out by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Energy, through the National Directorate for Industry, Commerce and Energy, which started today and runs until November 6, at the Renewable Energy and Industrial Maintenance Center (CERMI), Praia.
“This training course is one of the components to operationalize a very important legal and regulatory tool, which is the Energy Efficiency Code in Buildings, but for its operationalization it is necessary to have professionals trained in Building Certification”, explained the coordinator.
Therefore, “the training course aims to train Energy Efficiency (EE) experts, as well as to provide future energy buildings certifiers with technical skills for the exercise of professional activity”.
