Abuja, June 21, 2019 (NAN) Mr Prince Ezewuiro, the Chief Executive Officer, Shiloh Global Development Empowerment Foundation, (SGDEF), says the organisation awarded scholarship to over 250 students for the 2019/2020 academy section.

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the award to the students was held at the foundation’s 5th award ceremony, in New Karu, Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria.

Ezewuiro said that the scholarship would help parents and encourage the indigent students to acquire sound education.

He said that the foundation had awarded 100 per cent educational scholarship to over 1,000 pupils in various nursery, primary and secondary schools across the nation.

“We intend to give hope to those who have no hope, but have zeal and passion to achieve global super great excellence.

“Our message of hope to all who listen to us and work with us is to have faith in God, even as you have faith in yourself.

`There is no success unattainable, if the pursuer is ready to pay the right price.

“We must all strive for excellence to be the very best, we will be just like the seed.’’

Ezewuiro said that the foundation had not accessed any fund or financial support from any agencies either local or international donors.

“We are open for partnership funding, grants, donations from donor agencies.“

He said that the foundation had established global businesses across the nation with the intention to create employment opportunities and increase labour market.

According to him, the foundation is committed to corporate social responsibilities, global nation building, human empowerment and development through creating and training global businesses.

“ SGDEF is also set to award scholarships to more students in various states of the nation.

“We have donated 40 to 50 per cent of our net annual profit to charity works, human development and empowerment.

“The foundation partners with some private schools in various states of the country to ensure that the students are engaged to further their education.

“Within the short time of the foundation`s existence, it has touched on key areas of education while also supporting the needy,’’ he said.

Ezewuiro, however, said that the vision and mission of the foundation was to excel in various businesses, investments, and productions by providing the highest-quality and most reliable products and services.

Mrs Mmayen Obaigbona, the Proprietress, Solid Fundamentals Montessori Academy, one of the partners of the foundation, said that her school has over 100 students benefiting from the foundation.

“Through the scholarship, more students are coming to enroll in my school and the gesture will help to promote and enhance the development of the school,’’ Obaigbona said.

She said that she was grateful partnering with the foundation, adding that the relationship had impacted positively on the development of the school.

The Chairman of the Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, Mr Samuel Gajere, thanked the organisation for coming to the aid of the parents who could not afford their children`s school fees.

Gajere said that the gesture would help cushion the effect of hardship on the lives of people across the country.

The chairman was represented by Mr Enam Bawa, the Special Adviser on Revenue and Task Matters of the area. (NAN)
