Ghana Revenue Authority holds Quartely Health Walk

  26 Mars      56        Santé (15358),

Accra, Mar. 26, GNA—Mr Henry Yentumi, Technical Advisor to the Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority, has called on the workers of the Authority to work extra hard to ensure that the authority meet its target set by the government for the year.
He said this could be achieved only if the staff rededicate themselves and they were in good condition of health.
Mr Yentumi made the call at the end of the Authority’s first Quarterly Health Walk of the year, which ended at Peduase near Aburi in the Eastern Region on Saturday.
About 200 workers took part in the 4.3 kilometre walk, which started from Ayi Mensah in the Greater Accra Region and ended at Peduase.
Mr Yentumi, said the programme was one of the pioneers of the Employee Wellbeing Programme, supported by the management to ensure the wellbeing of the employees.
He urged them to take active interest in physical exercise so that they would remain healthy at all times and contribute to the maximization of profit.
Mr Daniel Dagbor, Head, Employee Wellbeing and Welfare, said the authority would continue to organize health fitness programmes for the workers at all times and urged the staff to participate fully in all programmes.
