Accra, Dec 26, GNA- The Management of Gina Pharma Limited at its maiden end of year awards, acknowledged and rewarded hardworking staff for their contribution towards the Company’s growth.
Awards were presented to notable health institution subscribers, pharmacists, security service providers, customers at retail branches and other attendants.
Gina Pharma has six branches operating in Tamale, and the awards were given across all branches to deserving individuals.
Alhaji Ibrahim Rauf Gombila, the owner of P.K Pharmacy in Tamale, took home a double door Nasco fridge, as the best retail customer, which was the biggest award of the night, while Dr Kwame Agyapong of the 24hours service pharmacy was awarded the best personality of the year.
Other award categories were; the best security man, best customer, and best staff who received hampers.
Dr Charles Nimo, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gina Pharma Limited, said the award was apt given the selflessness and dedicated services staff of the Company made in contributing to expand the Company from one to six branches in Tamale as well as extension to the Upper East Region.
He said the Company would support the Pharmacy Department of the University for Development Studies (UDS), to conduct series of clinical researches on drug resistance of some common diseases in the North, as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
Dr Nimo indicated that his outfit would be innovative in bringing out products to meet the needs of customers and members of the public.
