Accra, July 5, GNA – A late strike by Kwadwo Obeng Junior ensured Hearts stretched their unbeaten league run to 10 in a fascinating 1-1 draw against Ebusua Dwarfs.

Dwarfs captain Dennis Korsah scored what seemed to be the winner in the 83rd minute but Obeng Junior struck late in added time of the second half to secure a vital point for the Phobians.

Hearts despite the draw are still top of the league log, three points ahead of their arch-rivals Kotoko who were held by King Faisal in their encounter.

Andy Kumi’s late strike ensured Kotoko secured a point against the ‘Insha Allah’ in an intriguing 1-1 draw game played at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Collins Ameyaw’s solitary strike proved crucial for the Berekum Chelsea as they stunned Dreams FC in their own backyard to move into 10th on the league table.

Berekum Chelsea are three points away from the relegation zone while Dreams drop out of the top four into sixth position.

Abass Ganiyu scored in the 85th minute as Eleven Wonders beat Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Eleven Wonders moved into 12th position on the league log with the win and are now two points away from the relegation zone.

The loss for Great Olympics was their third at home this season as they dropped out of the top four with two matches to end the season.

Evans Owusu scored the winner for Liberty Professional having been pegged back twice in their 3-2 win over Karela United at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope.

Diawise Taylor was on the scoresheet for the away side as he took his tally to 17 goals for the season.
