BARCLAYVILLE, Feb. 4(LINA) – The Superintendent of Grand Kru County is admonishing citizensand residents of the County to continue to work together in unity and supportdevelopment initiatives of the county.
Speaking on localradio station Voice of Grand Kru recently, Superintendent Doris N. Ylatunindicated that the trophy won by the county in the recent National County Meetshould be a symbol to reawaken the spirit of reconciliation and unity among thepeople of the county.
She pointed out thatthe essence of the tournament is for Liberians from across the 15 politicalsub-divisions to interact and come together as one people so that the spirit ofoneness can prevail.
Supt. Nlatun notedthat the county meet brings unity among locals from diverse backgrounds,who graced the games to cheer their counties in a peaceful and joyousatmosphere.
Madam Ylatun laudedthe efforts of the kickball and football teams for bringing pride to heradministration after 33 years of a trophy drought.
She also expressedprofound gratitude to well-meaning Grand Kru citizens both at home and abroadfor their contributions and support to the County Sports Steering Committeethat resulted to the victory of the county.
