Handball: Cabo Verde team will workout in Portugal for Egypt World Cup

Praia, Sep 8 (Inforpress) – The Cabo Verdean men’s handball team will workout from November 2 to 8 in Portugal, its first preparation training for the World Championship, which will be played from 13 to 31 of this month in Egypt.

The president of the Cabo Verdean Handball Federation, Nelson Martins, told Inforpress that this was the best mean found, since the vast majority of the players that make up the Cabo Verde national team play in European clubs.

In addition to this initial workout session, the direction of the sport national federation has also scheduled a second preparation workout in December, which culminates with the trip of the Creole team to Egypt, for its first participation ever in the world cup.

Group F: Portugal, Algeria, Ireland and Morocco.
