InstinctWave launches Ghana Public Sector Conference awards

Accra, Dec. 15, GNA – InstinctWave, a full service 360 marketing and business solution firm, has announced the launch of the maiden edition of the Ghana Public Sector Conference & Awards.

The Ghana Public Sector Conference & Awards, which is scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of April 2016 will create an arena where public sector institutions would be honoured for excellence and efficiency.

The Ghana Public Sector Awards will recognize excellence in the delivery of public services to Ghanaians by the public sector organizations and other stakeholder businesses supporting national growth.

A statement signed by Mr Akin Naphtal, the Chief Executive Officer of InstinctWave and group Publisher of InstinctBusiness, said the private sector has witnessed different kinds of awards and recognitions over the years.

However, the public sector, he said, has been underrated and discredited with failure and negativity.

« In the real sense, the public sector has not been well represented, and thus has not been celebrated as it should be, » he said.

The awards will shine light on public sector projects and most importantly act as a means of delivering a more efficient and effective public service.

It will also recognize the creative achievements and contributions of public service institutions and foster constructive competition among public sector agencies.

The conference will create a common Ghanaian administrative space, develop new administrative problem-solving paradigms and improve performance in public service delivery.

Mr Naphtal said the maiden Ghana Public Sector Awards would commence with a conference, discussing challenges, problems and the way forward in making public sectors in the country vibrant and up their game in contributing to the development of the country.

The Ghana Public Sector Conference and Awards will be an annual event as the sector plays a significant role in creating employment and contributes various services to the development of the economy.

InstinctWave are the organizers of the successful 5th Ghana Telecom Awards, West African Telecom Summit & Expo, CFO Awards and Ghana Construction Awards.
