Praia, Jun 8 (Inforpress) – The president of the Institute of Cultural Heritage (IPC), Hamilton Jair Fernandes, said on Monday in the city of Praia that the Government’s investments in Tabanca are to continue, even due to the evolution or not of the pandemic.
Hamilton Jair Fernandes made these statements to the press moments after the inauguration of the House of Tabanca of Achada de Santo António, an event in which he was representing the Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Abraão Vicente.
This responsible, began by saying that, since 2017 to this date the Government, through the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries, has invested about 14 million escudos in the Tabanca groups and 14 groups receive the annual grant of 200 thousand escudos.
“To this one can add the Inventory project, the continuous training and the support, as is the case here, not only the money that was allocated to the Tabanca group of Achada de Santo António, but also the granting of some support for the execution of the party that begins today and runs until the 13th”, he announced.
