Accra, June 15, GNA-Madam Jane Amerley Oku, the Chief Executive Officer of the Janok Foundation, a community-based organisation has donated items to fire victims at Zongo-Ayigbetown in Accra.
The items included; used clothes, shoes, sandals and two bags of rice.
There was a fire outbreak on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Zongo-Agyigbetown in the Ablekuma Central Municipality, which razed down 20 wooden structures, destroyed property wealth millions of Cedis and rendered over 50 people homeless.
Mrs Naomi Amuzu, a victim who received the items on behalf of her colleagues expressed gratitude to the Foundation for the gesture and appealed to other organisations, individuals and corporate bodies to come to their aid.
