Praia, Oct 15 (Inforpress) – “Less alcohol, more life” program coordinator Manuel Faustino said Saturday that the Leader Cup football tournament is an “example” in the fight against alcoholism.
Manuel Faustino was speaking at the opening of the second edition of the Leader Cup, an event sponsored by the Presidency of the Republic, with the intention of promoting the “Less alcohol, more life” campaign and in the fight against prostate and cervical cancer.
According to Manuel Faustino, this tournament takes place on a decisive phase of the “Less alcohol, more life” campaign, referring to the entry into force, in October 5th, of the new law on the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
The entrance to the games, which take place at Várzea Stadium, will be through the delivery of a kilo of food (optional), which will be distributed to the neediest households, an initiative that also has the partnership of the Safendi Tudu Hora Association.
