MONROVIA, Dec. 4 (LINA) – The Liberia National Police(LNP) is probing a man identified as Marfee Musa for allegedly murdering his 16 year-old son at his residence in the 72nd community.

Making the disclosure at a press conference held at the LNP headquarters on Capitol Hill on Monday, Police spokesman Moses Carter said preliminary investigation has unearthed that suspect Musa immediately buried his son identified as Marfee Musa, Jr. at their residence in the 72ndcommunity without informing the police of the matter.

Carter noted that suspect Musa is currently in police custody undergoing further probe.

Carter also disclosed that the LNP is investigating Abraham Wenyu, an executive of the Abraham Roberts Funeral Parlour for the alleged secret burial of three dead bodies.

He indicated that the LNP has made contacts with family members of the deceased female who, according to him, have identified her as Sasanna Kowroteh, and added that the two other bodies are skeletons and are currently deposited at JFK Hospital.

The police spokesman assured the public that the LNP will do everything possible to get to the bottom of the matter.

Meanwhile, the LNP has re-echoed its warning to people in the habit of attacking police officers while performing their duties, urging them to desist as the LNP will not relent to arrest and prosecute anyone engaging in such practice.
