Morocco’s Adnane Remmal nominated for 2015 Innovation Prize for Africa Awards


Rabat, April 14, 2015 (MAP) – Moroccan Adnane Remmal was shortlisted among the nominees for the 2015 Innovation Prize for Africa Awards held by the Africa Innovative Foundation (AIF) which will present the awards on May 13 in Skhirat (Rabat outskirts).

Remmal is in the running for the prize along with nine other candidates chosen out of 925 applications from 41 African countries, organisers said in a statement.

« The winners will be chosen and announced in a glittering ceremony to be held in Skhirat, » said the organsiers of the prestigious AIF awards that distinguishes Africans who show innovation in a range of fields including agriculture, education and health.

The ceremony will be co-organised with the Ministry for Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy.

The award is worth 150,000 US dollars that will be shared between the winners with the most outstanding innovation receiving 100,000 US dollars.
