MTN to make more investments in network and data services

Accra, Sept. 15 (GNA) – Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN) has said it will continue to invest in its network, data and digital services to ensure comfort for its subscribers.

Madam Georgina Fiagbenu, Corporate Communications Senior Manager of MTN said this during a media and stakeholders forum organized by MTN Ghana in Tamale shed light on its (MTN) operations.

Madam Fiagbenu said since 2006, MTN Ghana had invested 2.5 billion dollars to improve the network to ensure that subscribers enjoy quality services.

She said MTN’s operations had generated 500,000 direct and indirect jobs in the economy whiles undertaking a number of community investment projects in the areas of education, health and economic empowerment to bring relief to the people.

She thanked MTN subscribers for their loyalty appealing to them to always contact MTN to ascertain the veracity of any promotions on the network so as not to fall victims to any fraudulent activities.
