Casablanca, Mar 10 (Inforpress) – The journalists who participated in the third edition of the “The Panafrican” forum, in Casablanca, Morocco, say they are more aware and engaged in promoting actions to face the impacts of climate change on the African continent.
After two days of debate, 6th and 7th, at the African Women Journalists Forum with experts linked to the areas of water, solid waste, wind energy, sustainable cities, sustainable agriculture, among others, the 300 journalists pledged to act to protect the African continent from the impacts of climate change.
Most are aware that journalists are not only obliged to inform society, but also have a fundamental role in finding solutions to the various problems that affect their country, their continent and the world.
Aware of this role, they, at the end of the event, promised to work not only to publicize issues related to climate change, but also to engage in awareness raising actions, in projects aimed at minimizing the effects of climate change on the African continent that suffers more from this problem.
