Praia, Oct 16 (Inforpress) – The Minister of Education, Maritza Rosabal, guaranteed this Wednesday in Parliament that “there is no student” attending classes without a mask, highlighting a “wide process” of distributing this protective equipment by the Government.
Maritza Rosabal made these statements at the end of the debate with the Minister of Education in this first session of October, which marks the kick off of the new parliamentary year.
“As far as I know, we don’t have any students attending classes without a mask. There was a wide process of distributing community masks, which was carried out by the Government, during the months of July and August. Now the process continues, through school social action for those students who need it most,” she said.
The Minister of Education also said that the Government is doing everything possible to resolve, monitor and leave no problem behind. “We cannot leave problems behind and that is why inspections, mechanisms and interventions are immediately reinforced”, he stressed.
