Porto Novo, Aug 5 (Inforpress) – The newly created Women’s Association in Lagoa da Ribeira das Patas (Amular), in Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, is “focused” on building its headquarters, where it will also be installed a product processing unit.
The information was provided by Amular’s president, Milú da Cruz Pires, who said that the work, which started in March this year, with funding from the Environment Fund and in a partnership with the City Hall of Porto Novo, at this moment is in standby .
“For now, we are more focused on building our headquarters. Right now, we are looking for partners / financing for the continuation of the works”, explained the Amular president to Inforpress.
This infrastructure, in addition to serving for the functioning of the association, made official last July, will also have a space for the food products transformation, a project that aims to generate income for women head of household.
