Praia, Sal, Jun 21 (Inforpress) – The National beach football team of Cabo Verde started its participation in the 1st African Beach Games, which takes place in Sal Island, with a 14-6 victory over to Equatorial Guinea.
In a game that featured a good team work, with the house cheerleading quite noisy, and with the reinforcement of Senegalese hosts, Cabo Verde dominated the game from start to finish, despite the good response from people of Equatorial Guinea.
The Creole team won all three 12-minute periods, a result that left the coach Pulido Brito “Pú” moralized, which reaffirmed Cabo Verde as candidate to gold medal, claiming that players are determined to play with the goal focused on the title.
The coach promises the same effort for Thursday’s game, this time against Algeria, as a way to shorten the path to materialize the goal assumed.
