MONROVIA, June 10 (LINA) – Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph has donated 150 bags of 25kg rice and L$195,000 to residents of VOA community in District #17, Montserrado County.
Speaking to the Liberia News Agency after the donation o Saturday, Sen. Joseph said the donation was an endeavour to help underprivileged Liberians meet their daily needs.
“I am doing this in order for my people to know that I have not forgotten them. I am keeping the promise I made to them during the campaign period,” Sen. Joseph indicated.
According to him, the donation which is not the first to the district will not be the last and that he will continue to reach out to the people of Montserrado County and always try to put a smile on their faces.
“It brings joy to my heart when I see my people joyfully welcoming and appreciating my contributions to the county,” he added.
Recently, the Montserrado Senator donated a 24 seater bus to residents of District #16 in the county.
