Praia, Jul 23 (Inforpress) – TAP announced Monday the resumption, as of August 1, of its flights to Cabo Verde, interrupted since March 19, when the Government banned air connections, to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the company’s website, that Portuguese airline will fly eight weekly flights to Cabo Verde, four to Nelson Mandela International Airport, in Praia, and the others one to Cesária Évora International Airport, in Mindelo, São Vicente Island.
The Portuguese airline, which made its first trip to Cabo Verde in 1945, more specifically to Sal island, had been increasing its connections with the archipelago every year, reaching up to 24 weekly flights.
