Praia, Dec 23 (Inforpress) – The Japanese Embassy donated to Cabo Verde, Wednesday, the amount of 81.427 euros for the rehabilitation and expansion of the Women’s Promotion Center in the city of Tarrafal de Santiago.
According to a press release sent to Inforpress, the donation is part of the Japanese Assistance for Local Projects (AJPL) and aims to finance the rehabilitation and expansion of the Tarrafal de Santiago Women’s Promotion Center.
The contract signing ceremony took place virtually and was chaired by the Japanese ambassador to Cabo Verde, Arai Tatsuo, and the president of the Cabo Verde women’s organization (OMCV), Idalina Freire Gonçalves.
It also counted on the presence of the adviser to the deputy minister of the prime minister for Regional Integration for matters of decentralization, Florentino Tavares.
