BUCHANAN, Jan. 8 (LINA) – As the Coalition for Democratic Change Government steps up its game, Foreign Minister Gbezohngar Milton Findley has assured that President George Manneh Weah is committed to delivering the development needs of the country.

He has accordingly called on citizens to contribute their quota and even use prayer as a supportive tool to propel the government in ensuring that its development agenda is a success.

Addressing members of the United Mission Church of Christ in Liberia in Buchanan at the weekend, Minister Findley pointed out that the nation will not rise if the citizens do not stand with the government through prayer and positive thoughts, and emphasized the role of the church in setting a positive platform for the nation.

« Even though we are aware that all is not rosy, but the government has made significant gains along the way in its first year, » the Foreign Minister asserted.

He said as the Foreign Messenger of the Coalition for Democratic Change administration, he is applying the necessary strategies to ensure the success of the Pro-Poor Agenda.

The Dean of the Cabinet clarified that the government is not preventing citizens or politicians from criticizing it, but called for positive and well-meaning criticisms.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Findley is urging leaders in Grand Bassa County to desist from using negative propaganda against others to avoid problems in the county.

In a related development, during his visit to the UMCCL on the first Sunday in January 2019, the Minister, who hails from Grand Bassa County, presented L$100,000 as support to the uplifting of the church.
