Luanda, August 02 (ANGOP) – The improvement of the 10th place achieved in 2015, in Congo Brazzaville, is the goal of the Angolan Olympic Committee (COA) for the African Games to be held from 23 August to 3 September in Rabat, Morocco.
The goal was advanced Thursday (01), in a press conference, at COA headquarters, in Luanda, by the head of the delegation to the continental sport event, Auxilio Jacob.
Angolans will benefit from intensive in-house training and a 10-day pre-competitive internship in Portugal to improve their performance.
The men’s handball and boxing match chose to finish the preparation in Luanda.
Angola will participate in athletics, handball (men and women), basketball (3×3), boxing, canoeing, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, judo, karate-do, swimming, table tennis, beach volleyball and chess.
