Police search for chainsaw operator’s killer

Sunyani, Jan. 8, GNA – The Brong-Ahafo Regional Police Command is searching for the killer of a man, aged 45 who was shot dead at a location between Kintampo and New Longoro in the Kintampo North Municipality of Brong-Ahafo Region.
The body of deceased, Kiwa Joshuah Busi, alias ‘Macho’, a chainsaw operator has been deposited at the Kintampo Government Hospital morgue pending autopsy, Chief Inspector Augustine Kingsley Oppong, the Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) confirmed to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday in Sunyani.
He said on Monday, January 7 this year, one Frank Abuduka, a 37 year old teacher reported to the Kintampo Police that earlier in the day his uncle late Busi left Kintampo for Abdago near Babato-kese on a chainsaw business.
According to Abuduka whilst returning to Kintampo, deceased was shot dead by an unknown assailant on the Kintampo-New Longoro feeder road, Chief Inspector Oppong said.
He said no arrest has been made and appealed to the general public, especially those in Kintampo and its environs to assist by providing the necessary information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect for a handsome reward.
