By T. Ezekiel Geeplay, Sinoe County Correspondent

GREENVILLE, Jan. 9 (LINA) – In keeping with his commitment to promote the growth and development of young people in Sinoe County, Senator J. Milton Teahjay has broken ground for the construction of a modern youth center.

When completed, the center will be used by the youths of Tarjuowon District in Electoral District #3 in Sinoe County.

Teahjay told the Liberia News Agency in an interview that he decided to construct the youth center when he observed that there was nowhere for the youth to gather to discuss issues concerning the district.

He added when completed the youth center will place the district’s youth on the map in terms of being independent in making decisions in the county

The Sinoe County Senator said the construction work, which will be implemented by the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment, is expected to last for eight months beginning this January.

Also speaking to reporters in the district, Darius Bolo, a youth activist, described the Senator’s intervention as timely, and called on the district youth to work collectively to make the Senator’s dream for the youth center a reality.
