Black Stars train ahead of their match against Central African Republic

Accra, June 3, GNA – The Black Stars of Ghana held a recovery training session after their 3-0 win against the Barea of Madagascar in their opening group fixture of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars, after their big scalp, now turn focus on the Central African Republic in their second group encounter, slated for Sunday, June 5, 2022.

Richard Ofori and Andy Yiadom, who missed last Wednesday’s encounter against Madagascar, joined the team at training on Thursday, to prepare for the upcoming encounter.

Accra Hearts of Oak defender Dennis Korsah has also received a late call up to join the squad for the Central African Republic clash as well as the four-nation tournament in Japan.

VfL Bochum winger Christopher Antwi is expected to join the team in Japan for the four-nation tournament.

The Black Stars are expected to depart for Luanda on Friday as they prepare for the match.
