CORCAS Head Holds Talks with Tanzanian National Assembly Speaker

Rabat, 18/09/2023 (MAP) – Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS), Khalihenna Ould Errachid, held, here Monday, talks with Speaker of the National Assembly of Tanzania, Tulia Ackson.

Both parties reviewed the prospects for strengthening cooperation in different areas, particularly in transport, logistics and agriculture, Ackson told the press following the talks, hailing the considerable progress made by the Kingdom, particularly in agriculture.

Discussions also focused on the parliamentary experience in the two countries and ways to mutually benefit from it, she added.

The Speaker of the Tanzanian National Assembly, who had previously met with Speaker of the House of Advisors, Enaam Mayara, also noted that the visit of HM King Mohammed VI to Tanzania in 2016 opened new prospects for relations between the two countries.

She also expressed her condolences following the earthquake that struck several regions of the Kingdom, praising the efforts made by Moroccan authorities, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
