Meknes, 07/05/2023 (MAP) – Côte d’Ivoire wants to draw inspiration from the Moroccan model in terms of strengthening food sovereignty, said Sunday in Meknes, the Ivorian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Kobenan Kouassi Adjoumani.

In a statement to the press, following a meeting with Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, held on the sidelines of the 15th edition of the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM), Kouassi Adjoumani said that this meeting was an opportunity to discuss the issue of food sovereignty and « to see to what extent we can draw inspiration from the Moroccan model, which has gone beyond the Green Morocco Plan (PMV) by implementing the ambitious strategy Generation Green ».

This meeting was also an opportunity to review all the cooperation actions that link the two countries, he said, welcoming, in this sense, the various actions of support of HM King Mohammed VI vis-à-vis Côte d’Ivoire.
