Accra, July 20, GNA – Mr Freddie Blay, the National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Thursday engaged the leadership of the NPP Loyal Ladies to express his appreciation for role they played in the Party’s victory in 2016 and strategise for next year’s election.
A statement issued and signed by Nana Yaw Preko, the NPP Deputy Director of Communications on Friday, said Mr Blay assured the group that President Akufo-Addo’s government would remain resolute in meeting the needs of Ghanaians through human-centred policies and programmes.
Mr Blay gave the assurance that the Loyal Ladies and other volunteer groups who worked tirelessly for the Party’s victory would be duly recognised and appreciated.
« Ghana is lagging behind in so many ways though a lot has been achieved, we still have many challenges.
“Those challenges can be overcome if the NPP stays in government for many years, which will give us the opportunity to develop the country and address the needs of Ghanaians » Mr Blay added.
Madam Adwoa Pomaah Sanwu, the President of the Group, expressed gratitude to Mr Blay and congratulated him on his assumption of office as the Party’s chairperson.
