BlueCrest University College receives Best Private Journalism College Awards

Accra, Sept. 21, GNA – BlueCrest University College has received the 2018 Best Private Journalism College Awards at the annual ‘Africa International Award of Merit’.

The awarding body, West Africa International Press Limited, presented the Award to the BlueCrest College at the International Conference on Parliamentary Democracy in Africa at Akosombo in the Eastern Region.

This was in a statement signed by Mr John Kumi, the Public Relations Officer of the University College, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday.

The Award is in recognition of the College’s immense involvement in campaign and sensitisation exercises over the years for attitudinal change within the country and Africa at large.

Mr Kofi Dzokoto, the Head of Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, expressed the College’s profound gratitude to the awarding body for the recognition.

He urged institutions to, as much as possible, be involved in sensitisation exercises to help impact positively on the society.

Mr Sujith Jayaprakash, the Registrar of the University College, said the prestigious Award would encourage the Institution to do more in providing quality education in Ghana and Africa.

He praised management and staff for their hard work and diverse contribution in achieving this feat in the history of the school.

This is the latest of many other top prestigious awards that has been received by the BlueCrest University College.

Wisconsin International University College and Owl’s Nest International School were among the institutions awarded.
