Oblak (goalkeeper), Lalo (defender) and Gogol (forward) are not traveling with the team for next Saturday’s match with Mauritania for the second leg of qualifying for the CHAN 2020.
The three players are left at the option of the coaching staff, led by Janito Carvalho, who led 21 players, of which will choose 18 for the game with Mauritania.
Part of the Cabo Verdean national team of resident footballers traveled to Mauritania with a stopover in Senegal on Tuesday, 31, where they will play against the host team to the second leg of the CHAN 2020 qualifying round.
According to a source from the Cabo Verdean Football Federation (FCF), the other party travels today, also to Senegal, where they will join and leave for Mauritania on the same day. The game is scheduled for 4 pm Cabo Verde at the Nouakchott Olympic Stadium in the Mauritanian capital.
