Praia, Mar 10 (Inforpress) – Cabo Verde Television and Radio (RTC) signed on Monday, in the City of Praia, with three of the six political parties running in the legislative elections of April 18 a regulation agreement will guide the electoral debates.
The document was initialed by the director of Cabo Verde Radio (RCV), Nélio dos Santos, the information coordinator of the Cabo Verde Television (TCV), Waldemar Pires, the representative of the Movement for Democracy, (MpD) Filomena Delgado, the African Independence Party of Cabo Verde (PAICV), Fernando Moeda, and the Labour and Solidarity Party (PTS), Carlos Lopes.
The organisation of debates results from the negotiations and the “excellent work” between the management of the RCV and TCV with representatives of the presidents of MpD, PAICV, UCID, PP, PTS and PSD.
With this agreement, three debates are scheduled with live and simultaneous broadcast on radio and television, the first scheduled for March 21, with the leaders of all competing parties, the second to 28 of this montd, with the presence of parties do not compete in all constituencies.
