Cidade da Praia, Jan 28 (Inforpress) – The Santo Crucifixo team beat Torreense 1-0 in the match played today at the João Serra stadium and consolidated the isolated lead in the league table of the North Santo Antão regional football championship.
The Santo Crucifixo scored in the 76th minute, through Lito, and distanced itself from its most direct pursuers, Foguetões and Sinagoga, who tied (1-1) in the game played against each other.
Sunday afternoon, counting for the sixth round of the competition, with goals from Mantcha (04 minutes for the Sinagoga) and Ivan (90 minutes for Foguetões).
This Saturday Solpontense thrashed Rosariense 4-1, with goals scored by Caicedo (42 minutes), for Rosariense, and for Solpontense the goals only appeared in the second half by Pitú (50 minutes), by Mota (57 and 66 minutes) and Nanduk, Rosariense to score an own goal, in the 74th minute.
In the second match this afternoon, Paulense beat UD Janela by 2-1, with goals scored by Joel (27 minutes), for UD Janela, and for Paulense Djosa scored at 43 and 87 minutes.
