George Amoako leads new management team of Kotoko

Accra, Aug. 14, GNA – Dr. Kwame Kyei, Executive Board Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club Limited, has appointed an 11-member management team, to steer the affairs of the club.

Dr. Kyei on Monday, dissolved the old management team as part of efforts to re-organize the structures of the club.

A statement from the club, signed by Miss Rose Padmore, Administrative Manager, said Mr. George Amoako wold lead the 11-member team as the Chief Executive Officer.

He would be supported by Mr. Samuel Sarfo, a lawyer who would act as the Director of Communications, whilst Mr. Yaw Sarpong, a Policy Analyst, would also be part of the team.

According to the statement, Mr. Isaac Donkor would be in charge of Operations, with Dr. Jerry Newton acting as the Medical Officer.

Mr. Edmund Ackah and Nana Kwame Danquah would act as the Accra Representatives of the club.

Mr. Caleb Adams, would be the team’s Psychologist, with Miss Rose Padmore Yeboah as dmistrative Manager and would be assisted by Miss Lucy Andoh.

Mr. Nana Akwesi Gyambibi would act as the Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman.

The statement said, the appointment of these persons takes effct immediately with Director of Communications, Mr. Sarfo mandated to form his communication team to represent the mouth piece of the club.
Dr. Kyei in the statement also rallied support for the new management team, as he urged teeming supporters of the club to support the new management to better the fortunes and propel the club to greater heights.
