Praia, Feb 11 (Inforpress) – The FCF Internship Center, known as the Cabo Verdean House of Football and the Federation headquarters are completely remodeled, after recent recovery works, in a FIFA investment estimated at 480 thousand dollars (USA).
The works are practically completed and the direction of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation expects to receive the infrastructure completely remodeled this week for its reopening to the public.
Inaugurated in May 2006, in a ceremony that brought the then President of FIFA, Joseph Blatter, to Cabo Verde, the FCF headquarters was refurbished and new lighting, in a budget estimated at 250 thousand dollars, from the FCF budget submitted to FIFA.
To this value, the national Federation, through the FIFA Award, invested an additional of 230 thousand dollars for the renovation of the new synthetic turf in the Internship Center, already fully implanted in this infrastructure destined, mainly, for training and it will have a small bench.
