Espargos, Apr 20 (Inforpress) – The delegate of the National Election Commission (CNE), in Sal, Sidney Spínola, assured the polling stations opened on time and without any constraints, and in the first period of the day there was a “low turnout” at the polls.
In a tour of the different polling stations, in Espargos, Santa Maria, Pedra de Lume and Palmeira, Inforpress can see that sanitary measures were being fulfilled, observing at the entrance a person equipped with alcohol in gel to sanitize the hands of those who will vote.
Sidney Spínola, according to which the voting process is taking place normally, although timid, expects the trend to change throughout the afternoon.
“We tried to eliminate all the constraints occurred in the last elections, so far things are going well, we have not had any embarrassment,” he said, informing that regarding the logistics part of the polling stations had no holders, the situation was resolved “automatically”.
