Accra, July 15, GNA – With six premier league teams left and two division two teams still in contention, the quarter-final draw for this year’s MTN FA Cup has been held with some interesting pairings.
Hearts of Oak who have won this competition nine-times would face off against struggling Premier League side Elmina Sharks at the Ndoum Sports Stadium.
Two-time champions Medeama would play division two side Attram Di Visser at the Akoon Park.
Nine-time Champions and defending champions Asante Kotoko would take on Berekum Chelsea in an all premier league affair at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium while Ashantigold SC would play division two side Kinttampo Top Talent.
Teams who progress to the semi-finals of this year’s competition would play their matches at the Cape Coast Sports Sports Stadium.
The winner of this year’s competition will win a whopping cash prize of GHC80,000 with the runner-up getting GHC30,000.
