Accra, July 3, GNA—The Old Students Association of Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon, defeated their colleagues from Accra Academy 2-0 on penalties, to win the annual Inter Schools football match played at Legon on Monday.
The match organized by the 2008 Year Group of PRESEC to commemorate their 10th Anniversary, saw the two teams piling pressure on each other but failed to score till full time.
Both teams resumed the second session with determination but PRESEC who were slightly on top wasted all the scoring chances that came their way.
Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Chief Executive Officer of Special Group of Companies, captain of the PRESEC team, in an address to the students urged them to stay away from drug abuse and concentrate on their studies to enable them to achieve their aims.
He said the 1985 Year Group of which he was a member had been able to renovate the Labone House and gave the assurance that more projects would be executed by the Group.
Dr. Sarpong appealed to the various year groups to visit the school regularly and contribute meaningfully to its development.
