Praia, Mar 10 (Inforpress) – The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, welcomed women nurses Monday and paid tribute to all these health professionals, in the country and in the world, for the performance of the “noble mission” evidenced “in a very particular way” in the fight against COVID-19.
Ulisses Correia was speaking during a meeting with women health professionals, especially nurses, promoted by the Government of Cabo Verde, in partnership with the National Institute of Public Health, to mark International Women’s Day, which is celebrated today, March 8.
“I would like to first welcome March 8, International Women’s Day, and through the nurses who are represented here, to greet all Cabo Verdean women and the world,” he began by saying.
Continuing, the Prime Minister greeted in a particular way the nurses, thanking the invitation to share with health professionals this day and this moment.
