Smart City Foundation expects people’s contribution to building smart cities in the archipelago

Praia, Oct 17 (Inforpress) – Smart City Foundation president Loide Monteiro has expressed a desire for a significant contribution from people in building smart cities in the archipelago.

Loide Monteiro made this statement to Inforpress, on the sidelines of the second day of the fair called “Expo Smart City ECOWAS”, which aimed to promote and show the general public what the country has been doing to achieve this goal.

According to her, the public participated, with an acceptable adhesion, although people still did not know well the true context of smart cities.

However, she explained, in terms of results, she expects people to start worrying about smart cities, how smart citizens can be to contribute and build smart cities on the archipelago.
